What is this block bushing!?

This bushing came in a box of fasteners from the machine shop. Does it go in the block near the AC bracket? What does it do?!

I can't find anything on it. Thanks guys.

Looks like the oil pump bearing....very top of the pump slides into it....take a pic of the inside of the block (oil pump side).

The oil pump shaft bushing that goes in the block has a flange on it.....
So it must be something else.
What, I have no idea :nono:

Hm, ok. I am hoping they mixed that into my parts from some other motor that was there. It was tanked, so it would have come out if it did live in there.

I'm a good way through assembly, have been using the TSRM, and have not come across anything that would need it. Weird...

Edit: Machine shop had my head too. Any idea if something like that lived in the head?

Shows it as the bush for the oil pump drive, but it seems to be in the wrong place? Maybe for front sump?

That's the old Distributor bushing from the GT 2000 cars.
