So I am in the market for a new supra, I recently banged up my car pretty bad after just rebuilding my engine. I am trying to decide what to do. The 7M was rebuilt with an hks metal head gasket and arp metal head studs as well as a rebuilt head, new rings and all new gaskets. So in other words the engine is strong but the body is well, not so good. I know I can do a swap but i am wondering if it is worth my while and dime to get a mint body. The reason for this is that like every other supra owner (or at least some) i would like to JZ the car at some point in time. I have a good tranny as well. So should i save more, buy a beater and then go JZ or should i love the 7M and all its quorks?
Any suggestions would be cool.
