Washed her nicely in preparation for Cars and Coffee in the morning. Things car guys do for car meets, like wash their car at night lol. From what I can tell I did a good job I didn't see any spots that I missed using a flashlight.

Haha, I do the same thing too during the summer! It's much cooler at night and I don't need to worry about water spots as much. They don't show on the Supra since it's silver, but the black 4Runner is really bad about water spots. She looks good!

It's easy to see dirty spots on white but you are right it is worse on black lol. Thanks I wish the front wasn't scuffed and dull but in due time I'll replace the bumper and probably repaint the entire car the same color.

Went to my machinist yesterday to pick up my block, crank, head and rods. Unfortunately he didn't machine the block with the timing cover even though I told him to, and the head was no good one of the journals was really bad. So going to pull the head off my current set up(rod knock) which was the last thing I wanted to do. Took a look at my spare head but idk if it can be machined any more it's pretty close already to where bolts go as is. What do yall think?

Yea I laughed when I picked up the new plates at the DMV the lady looked at me confused lol. The front end needs work there is a scuff and a sort of puncture from the previous owner and the paint is dull.

Mine needs some new paint on the bumpers too because it's a little dull. I've also got a little paint damage on the drivers side headlight cover, but it's not too bad. In the end they are still 23+ year old cars, and mine's in better shape than most cars that are 5 years old. I treat my old Toyota's better than everyone around here treats their brand new BMW's.

If body/paint work wasn't so expensive then I would have it redone, but I also have problems trusting other people working on my car haha. I'm afraid I'll go to pick it up from the paint place and it won't match and I'll be disappointed...

Installing my Cobra brakes finally; of course, some little issues came up had to grind down a part of the bracket to clear the rotor then there was an hour I wasted thinking I needed to find the banjo bolt but turns out the brakes came with them still in the stock lines in the box they came in. I went full retard during this install but it's not that bad you do have to remove the dust shield but I just cut it off since you have to remove the axle assembly and such.

FINALLY DONE!! Took me all damn night because I went full retard a few times and had to problem solve like grind off a little bit of metal here and there but overall it was a pretty easy install. If anyone goes with this setup you do have to cut a few threads off of the stock cobra brake banjo bolt for it to fit without pushing a piston out and allowing you bleed the brakes. If anyone has questions feel free to PM me I'll gladly help you out. I am very happy with this setup though the car stops amazingly well the stock brakes felt like they were struggling and now the brakes laugh at the weight of the car lol.

I took my targa off to let the seats dry out and no more than 4 hours later it started raining. my seals are bad, there's no restoring them only replacing them. changed out the rain tampon towels on the passenger seat.
