Actually I remember the trip being alot more comfortable with the factory seats lol. The Recaros are great, but I was missing the adjustability of the originals lol

Comfort wise, factory mk3 seats are tough to beat.

I didn't know that you had aftermarket seats, I assumed they were the factory seats which are very comfortable.

They really are. I don't know of any other cars that have power side bolsters either...

I absolutely love the factory seats and when I get into race mode I have the side bolsters squeeze me and I hardly move at all. I cannot wait to try it out on the track once my 2jz and suspension are ready.

Seats are too heavy for your race car, you need to take them off and install a hammock.....

My mk3 is having a hard time making it out the driveway :p, doubt it ever sees a track.... Unless you mean a track of oil spilled on the pavement.... :)

Mine has been running strong for quite some time now I still daily drive it lol. I want to buy a replacement OEM bumper for $350ish but painting it pearl white will be expensive alone. I will do that though when the time comes to repaint the entire car.

so now I was offered a 2000 dodge ram 1500 plus 400 cash for my supra as it sits. It has the 360 engine, 2500 suspension, shift kit in the transmission, 4x4, grill guard, remote start, nice stereo wired for subs. 230k on body. Engine and trans have about 80k on them. Has rust mainly on the body. Frame is good. Thinking about it...

just broke my 5th gear thrust washer while assembling my r154. epc says 10-15 bucks but ill check on availability and see how much longer its gonna be on the stands. makes me wanna cry im so frustrated.

i started tapping the "spline" onto the countershaft (last piece holding 5th gear before the stake nut) and the counter shaft slipped out of the bearing/intermediate plate. i got it back in and repositioned the thrust washer over the ball...or so i thought...5th gear thrust has 2 notches for some reason, the wrong one i locked in only recesses halfway through the washer and when i torqued the nut the ball bottomed out in the half notch and split the bitch in half...fml.

too pissed to take pics for further explaination...maybe later.

Well you see, I'd plan on driving it around for a little while and doing a few small fixes to it then selling it to buy a cleaner Supra. I saw a nice 86.5 on Cl in the area with less than half the miles mine has
