Well I started replacing my Targa seals today..... I did the rear one first and then after I pulled off the front I was greated with this:

2 bolt heads had completely rusted off and three more where badly rusted to the point of being a pain in the ass to get out.

I had to tap on the three with a hammer and screwdriver to break what ever rust was holding the screws in place (Lucky for my the clips that the mount too are plastic and not metal) and then used some pliers and vice grips to get the rest of the 5 jacked up screws out.

Tomorrow I'll be doing the sides.... Here's to hoping they won't be bad either.

Charged the battery since its been sitting all winter, bleed the coolant system(had air bubbles from bad rad cap) and took out for about 20 miles since the roads were clear of ice/snow. Now she's back in the garage with the car cover on waiting on nice weather.

I on the other hand, have been driving the 88 almost daily since I picked it up the other week and have put close to 600 miles on it as of this evening. We had nice 41° weather out today, lol.

This terrifies me and reminds me that I need to do mine...I'm growing very tired of getting wet if I brake in the rain :(

Speaking of water leaks, anyone know how to fix the track for windows? My driver side window isn't straight or sealing properly because it is off track a bit and that is why I get water inside of the cabin.

Seems that your tiles are loose :D

HAHA yes sir! Lasted about 5 years before they started to come up.

I have all new tiles to redo it...but this time I will properly clean the floor before adhering them. Then I'll get rid of that Chevy emblem and get either a Toyota one or a Supra one...maybe both haha

Clean the floor (use the wax "glue" remover), seal it, prime it.. your good for 15-20 years. (I just did my bathroom which is on concrete like that... they lasted about 25 years).

I just did the HKS 3" on my 7MGET, twin tip HKS muffler (very pretty). Found it is a nice idle rumble with no drone at high speeds (for highway). Probably the quietest I have seen on a 3" (which I prefer). Running the Raptor Racing 3" Divorced (reintegrated) DP which incorporates the turbo elbow. I get a bit more noise when I gun it, but overall its not something that rumbles neighbor's windows or sets off alarms like my Megan 3" did on my 87. Good choice.

Built ramps to get under the car...

Nice. To get under mine I pull the car to the edge of the driveway where it slopes down into the road and pull the car up onto two pieces of 2x10 for extra height. Its not the prettiest but it works well.

Well the exhuast didnt fit. Theres about an inch overlap from cat outlet. From the transmission mount to the downpipe out flange is about 5.5". Can anyone verify this?
