They were in a bag attached to my head after I got it back from the machinist. He said something about injectors, but I dont really know. I also dont really understand why I've got only three of them.
What are these?

They look like the spacers for the fuel rail? Maybe you left them stuck on when you took the head to the machinest?

Yup, agree, Fuel Rail isolators.... You mount the black plastic ring side against the rail and not the head.
Was just putting my new injectors in the other day, definitely the Fuel Rail isolators, like the others said, black ring towards the rail.
How important are they?? What could be the causes of these missing? Yes your right, you know why I'm asking......
Doesn't really matter...you need them for the fuel rail to mount properly to the head. Your injectors will not line up correctly without them.
