I have bad feeling about these piston might have been made bad as in mabye there off cliter and the thusting part is off to the side or some thing or they just did a bad hone or ring gap or just plain bad ring

i thinking is ring gap issue more because it only happend to the one cylyinder

and i used sip richs specs on every thing for 10 30 oil


I do know that the piston I had had the oil releafs on the wroung side of the piston

Is a ring gap going to cause a drop by that far on the compression test? I'm thinking not... I've seen compression tests with better results where a couple inches of the top ring was gone entirely.

last motor had a comp ratio of 80 and the ring just de-seated good old stock shitty ring wiht lots of miles on them
