Ok so my current supra build did 663rwhp on the Dyno and with my last pull blew a few Ringlands on my stock Pistons. Always wanted to see how far I can push them and I found out. So I bought a set of Weisco pistons which are Higher compression than stock Pistons. So I have 2 Questions here.

1. Since the compression ratio of there Pistons are 9:1 when should I be safe saying that I need a 2mm MHG to compensate?
2. Weisco Recommended Clearance is .0025, Since Im running alot higher HP numbers, would you all recommend going a little bigger on the clearance (ie .003) or would there be a problem staying at the recommended Clearance.

Thanks
Robert

Stay at the recommended clearance.

A thicker HG will make some difference in compression ratio, but without knowing what's been milled from your block and head, it's not possible to calculate your final static compression ratio.

.10 off the block and basically had the head cleaned. Thinking about getting another block and just have the RA cut. other than that nothing else.
