toyota performance=dead right now. but the new lexus is with the v8 and the 8 speed paddle shift looks fuckin sweet.

I'm dying to get my hands on that 8-spd. I heard it kinda sucks in the new LS (haven't driven it though), but if they've really improved it to be that quick of shifting, that sounds like sex on wheels.

I heard Toyota had bought shares of Fuji Heavy Industries last year. But had never heard any follow up on it until now. It was a pretty quiet deal so you shouldn't be surprised that some of the people here haven't heard about it before.
