Looks real nice! What did you use for the side walls on yours? Im using fiberglass but I think I might cut some sheet metal up and re-do it

The sidewalls are actually part of the hood skin.

I bent the sides down,then tacked/sandwiched a piece of sheet metal across the bottom to fill the gap,and brace the opening.This kept it from having a real sharp edge on the openings too.

+1 billion. If anyone is out there watching this thread to gauge interest, I can guarantee I'll be the first in line. And I don't mean it in a, "sure I'd buy one" way. I mean it in a finger anxiously hoovering over the "send payment" button kind of way.

Love it, except it wouldn't be practical with all the rain..

if you had a car that you drive in the rain, it wouldnt be hard to make some sort of foam type of plug for it. Three wedge shaped (to flush it on the top) and attached on the bottom or so.

...my car doesn't have windshield wipers. Needless to say, it doesn't see rain much.

If you DO decide to make a mold of that thing, let me know how much it's going to cost. I may be interested.

Would be easy to make it practicle in the rain. If you're moving forward it's sucking air out so it's fine, and making some rain channels wouldn't be hard either...

Your engine bay should be damn near waterproof anyway or you have something wrong...

Painted & cleared it tonight.

The clear is kinda dirty butI will block sand,then add the blue pearl/candy,then reclear,then buff & polish before it is done.
