vacuum hose from Intake manifold

The large hose that comes from the top and goes to brake booster, it has a one way valve in it.
I am wondering if that is a normal vacuum tube and if I could tap into it for vacuum before the one way valve (intake manifold side of valve)

You can tap into it before the 1 way valve. It is a normal hose.

The valve is so you dont pressurize the booster.
