I have been looking at these JDM engines. Can you use your exsisting USDM electronics on them? Matt

most of them yes. there are few sensors that need to be add/replaced. the oil pressure sending unit needs to be replace with a usdm one, and some sensors on the thermostat housing are needed.
furthore more, the egr system is needed (based if your states emmission laws require it). i also believe the throttle linkage is different (because of pedals being on different sides), you can just replace the tb or rig something up yourself. i know there are other differences but i cant think of them off the top of my head right now

Thanks. I am just not sure what I want to do. I know the story on buying JDM engines. I could try and wait and hope to pick up a running motor from a wrecked car or junk yard. I just dont want to wait forever on getting this car running again. I still need to paint it too LOL
