Upper radiator hose. Hard/Silicone

So I have a SAMCO setup, upper and lower. I like the look of the Hard line up top. Will the alum pipe cause faulty temp readings? Or will it matter?

No Heat issues.
Only thing is, as mensioned, more spots to leak..

Being alum i though that it would hold the heat longer than the silicone. I could be wrong just a thought.
