hey guys my Ferrari got problem again

lately notice temp rising so i decided to put in new thermostat from Toyota
car has under tray fan shroud fan clutch working proper

about 100k on rebuild HKS MHG arp bolts 75Lbs

question

once the car warms up and thermostat opens ..... does the upper hose pressure drop ?????? or suppose to drop??????

AFTER 15 DRIVING IN 90 DEG WEATHER

its hard as hell makes me nervous

i thought after car warms up i could sqeeze the upper rad hose??? NO??

i did a search but seemm to find nothing on FerrARI LOL

it should be fairly stiff.

if your temp keeps rising then your building steam..


check your fluides and park nose up on a hill to help burp the system

or try a block test.

Coolant pressure tool, get it from Autozone (loan-a-tool) and pressurize your system to like 15-16psi. See where you are leaking (old hose, perhaps)

i took my rad. cap off and squeezed the top hose and some steam came out of my rad. hole im not leaking coolant anywhere and my gauge keeps rising i think it's my wiring that's bad or something cuz the engine is fine i dunno wat the meaning of the steam is tho

You did this with the car hot, I'll assume? Lucky for you, the radiator was low, so you didn't blow hot coolant all over yourself. Try filling the radiator(when its cold), and see if it settles your temp. gauge. You might wanna check your oil, to, and see what color it is...
