I had posted awhile back on my car smoking on deceleration. I just installed drift-motion 57 trim turbo along with drift-motion inter-cooler kit. Smoking issue fixed. I want to add that I only moved one thing when installing the inter-cooler kit. It was the oil cooler that I relocated. I had read about some people having to move the coolant reservoir and horns etc. If anyone would like some pics. on how I installed the inter-cooler kit let me know.

Yes! I did inspect my turbo and it had shaft play and it was rubbing the sides. That smoking was bugging the shit out of me. The people behind me couldn't even see. It was so bad it could not be rebuilt. I have not had a turbo car before and I kept doubting myself that the problem was the turbo. I did a compression check myself and a leak down test. They both had good results. I believe allot of people hope that the turbo is not the problem because it is pricey. Do the compression check and leak down test first. I bet money it is your turbo.
