when i get a supra, i want to do a 1jz swap, im just starting to look into it, and am wondering if a SC300 or SC400 Lexus, Toyota Soarer, 1jz would work for a supra? im pretty sure it does, i just want confirmation

SC300 is a 2jzge (3L non turbo) and the SC400/LS400 is a 1uzfe (4L non turbo v8) Im about to start putting a 1jz out of a jzz30 soarer into my supra

I'm pretty sure they do but the oil pans on some of them are different depending on where it needs to clear the crossmember and most of us dont play with the vvti versions. Wiring may also be slightly different between models.

so i could find a Soarer engine if it were 1jz and put it in a supra?

yes, that's exactly what I did. The only thing that I didn't use from the Soarer was the intercooler and piping, engine harness, ECU, clutch fan and waterpump. All of these things are different from the Supra.
