Nick's version of the Equip wheels are not period correct. They came outwhen the mk3 was out of production.

Oops! Didn't even realise thats what the thread was about, i thought OP said Ultimate MK3 correc rims. Period. LOL ya, the works are not "period correct", but i thought they looked the best out of any wheels for the mk3

Xxr 502 wheels are not PERIOD correct, they came out recently. Period correct wheels for the mk3 means the wheels were in production when the mk3 was in production.

Sorry... missed the "Period-Correct" meaning. Car term I just hadn't heard that way, I guess. Got it, THX!

If anyone has a set of 18" Panasport G7 wheels with offsets like this...I'll be willing to trade.

Good to see the Blitz Type 01's don't look as weird as I thought. I love the Type 03's but they're not as easy to find, and I'll admit the Type 01's have caught my eye a time or two... Awesome thread by the way, I approve! :D

IMO, it only has to *look* period correct. Anything with a smooth lip - like the Works on Nick's car - isn't, as nobody made those back when the Mk3 was new. But I have no complaints with a modern 5 spoke multi-piece wheel running an old school stepped lip.

Not that I have to worry about mine... try to find any information about these, I dare you.

Are your wheels 17x8 and 17x9 ?

I'd hate to see what you'd actually do for a Klondike bar........

thinking back, are my rims period correct? I think they're from the early 90's, but not 100% sure...I heard they're in the drift bible, but I dont know when that came out, any ideas guys?
