This project was inspired by Randy aka "becauseican" http://www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?3663-Guaging-interest-twin-GT28R-turbo-kit-PICS!!&highlight=gt28r

He had a great setup, but he had surging issues and he knew how to fix it but ended up moving on to a single before addressing it. a balance pipe between both manifolds is the key. the car is a 96 s14 that has already ran on a 1jz. it has seen a Garrett 60-1 and a BW 88-75, crower cams, Blitz ecu and Safc. towards the last few months of the old setup running the ecu was Upgraded to Megasquirt II tuned by Jordan aka Shaodome. who btw is an awesome guy and excellent tuner..

Before I get into the pics I want to say that the car is much further along and these are pics from the beginning of the project, I don't even have pics of the NEW Carbon Fiber intake plenum. it will be added later. anyway the specs:

96 s14
Balanced and Blueprinted 1jz shortblock
Slightly Ported and polished 1jz head
Shim-less buckets
BC 264 cams
All new Pumps
new Bearings
6 speed
s15 Helical LSD rear end and FD
Megasquirt III
Twin gt28r (Ball Bearing)
Jenvey 45mm ITB's
Reverie CF plenum
Tial 60mm wg
Twin 300zx aftermarket IC's

This build is sweet so far, ITBs and upgraded twins should be interesting. Where do you expect to spool those 28Rs?

With the compression and small piping I would expect 18psi by 3k-3300 rpms few things to note, all hot pipes and turbine housings will be ceramic coated, so this will help spool. also the Intake runners will be equal length, and each cylinder will pull a lot more air than the factory intake, as a by product, more exhaust coming out.

Impressive craftsmanship & design skills! It all looks like a perfect sculpture, you should be proud.

What is the TIG machine you are using?
