What's the potential of twin gt28 on the 1j. Or dies anyone suggest twin gt35 or is that to much

gt35s might be too big but i think the gt30s would be good... 35s are probably only used only if you want monsterous power towards the 8-900s

Umm, twin GT30's would be terribly lazy on a 1J but are good for 950-1050 and twin gt35's would be good for 1100-1200 hp.

The twin GT28R setup we made preformaed great, the response was great as it made 18-19 psi at 3700 RPMs, and 502 RWHP at 22 psi. It did have some surge issues at cruise, due to the turbine housing size, and at the time there was no other sizes other than the .64 a/r. The best setup would be twin GT28RS's as they flow for 40HP more each and have a lot of turbine housing options now. The BIC kit was originally designed and built as a prototype kit for a production kit, but the end cost was simply too high for the mk3 market. It took almost two years to sell, and at half the cost to make. So that was the end of that..... But yes twins are very responsive, but takes alot of R&D to get right.

Im not sure if you understand. Twin GT30's in any variation are gonna be lazy. Your asking a 2.5 liter to spool up 900+ hp worth of turbo. Your gonna have to rev the piss out of it to have a decent powerband.
