well i found a turbonetic turbo, my buddy is selling it to me for cheap here is the description of the turbo

t3/t4 60 trim a/r .63

im not trying to go crazy on hp may be around 300/350, yes the car is stock and its going on 7mgte, i do know i have to upgrade my fuel system which is what i will be doing soon, and im not just going to drop the turbo in, but im just wondering if this turbo is good enough, i also know that this is a very good brand turbo as well, just trying to see what you guys think about it.

if this is in the wrong spot plz move it over

i was running a turbonetic t4 60-1 with a 70AR rear, the car ran a 13.9@105 on 9psi weighing at 4000lbs! turbo was a smooth spool not agressive. but loved the feel when it hit boost.

i never got to dyno it. but with those numbers its about 300-350? so its close to what you are looking for.

ight cool i appreciate it, even if i dont come close to 350 im ok with it, all it needs is a rebuild, but spins freely and has very minimum side to side and no in and out play, cause the stock ct isnt getting it for me, and i have the waste-gate shimmed

i just need a rebuild kit, i already looked around and its about 100 bucks, i spent 80 bucks from drift motion rebuilding the ct-26 and i did it my self, its not hard to do, just need patience and time to do it, and my ct-26 doesnt leak oil no more and spins fine and builds boost fine

hey guys just a little update on that turbo, shaft and bearings are still good, just looks like the thrust bearing or what ever its called started to rub badly against the blue plate, would any one know how this could of happen? balance was off and made it vibrate and grind like that?

also the fins on the blade has very little scrapes, nothing to serious, and there are no in and out play

Looks good bro, that 60 trim should have no problem making 400+ rwhp. I have made 430 rwhp and 430 rwtq at 18psi on a ct26-60 trim. I know you have a full 60 trim turbo so it will be more efficient. You can make around 375 rwhp with supporting mods at around 15psi on that 60 trim.

Question do you balance your turbos?
or
Do you just mark the wheel and just put it back to the mark ?

Reason i ask is cause i wanna try it. I hace an upgradded ct26 with a 60-1 wheel and a turbonetics ct26 rear housing. Its a rare housing since they dont make em anymore and i wanna get brave and try it. I want this turbo for my daily driver at 10 psi, just to mess around with the local ponys and trucks :). Maybe you can make a write up with a step by step and pics would really help.

i mark up every thing, like the compressor wheel, the nut and the shaft, this will be like my 3rd turbo rebuilding, i rebuilt my ct-26 on my own and doing over 8psi and having no problem, and its a stock ct26, i got to ask on turbonetics forum about the turbo but i have to get some specs on the compressor wheel, so hopefully once i get my license back this week, i can go to a shop that i go and use a digital caliper reading or w/e its called, but so far this turbo is the easiest turbo that i have done, ct-26 was a pain in the ass with the giant snap ring they had for the compressor housing and trying to split it open for the first time in the middle.

its easy, just take your time, take pictures and mark every thing up and you will be all set
