Is there any benefit to using Cams from a non turbo engine in a turbo engine? Ive seen a couple people have na cams in there turbo head, and i was wondering if there was and hp gain.

Are the na cams bigger? Thanks very much

Exhaust cam is the same. Turbo intake cam is slightly bigger and has slightly more duration.

In general you will never net good gains using n/a cams with a turbo engine. Turbo engines like no overlap. N/as do.

Most people dont. Again stock exhaust cams are the same for the 7m for n/a and turbo. IF they are running n/a intake cam either there n/a-t or they used the head when they swapped to gte or something along those lines.

With the stock cams you prolly wont notice to much of a difference. But its nothing to waste your money on.

Very old school mod when there were no aftermarket cams to suit the 7M.

NA Cam just shifter the powerband down a touch.

Which also got blow out of proportion to the point that loads of people began to think it was a real upgrade for many years. Which many more people have spent the last 8 years or so trying to stomp out that internet myth.

OP - If you really need a set of cams, don't waste your time with what brand of .22 pistol sounds the loudest when you can buy a real gun.
