Turbo Indicator Light (TIL pin on ECU)?

I am in the middle of a 7mgte swap and I rewired the ge harness to work with the gte. I have everything squared away except for one circuit. Im not sure what the TIL (Turbo Indicator Light) pin on the ecu is really for. anyone have any insight on this? the ecu is a 87 I believe.

Not used on this engine. Forget about it...

I think the old 22R turbo used a light instead of a boost gauge. Not useful on our cars.
