Turbo blew up :(

We'll on the way home from work last night the turbo exploded. The car died as soon as the turbo went. I tried to start the car to move that car off the road. The car acted like it was out of gas. It's starts up but won't idle, but when I feather the gas it will run. I've pulled the codes but got no codes. Could it be something much more then the turbo. I've pulled my intercooler off and got the pieces out of it.

Yeah, If you're lucky then you can just slap a replacement turbo on, and run it.
If you're unlucky, smaller bits of the compressor wheel made it through the intercooler and into your cylinders.

That sucks Bro, Hope it's just the turbo and not something serious.Also is that a stock turbo or a chepbay turbo

You know that you can gut a ct26 and a 7mgte will still run. What were you doing when the turbo let go?

If it sent bits through the compressor housing it would be an unmetered leak. Unlikely, but I've seen it.
