Guys i am converting my UK car to jdm rear lights so needed to fit a trunk release cable. I have the cable and release lever but it won't release. WTF can i do i have bent the lever i had to pull so hard and it still wont move. I know the striker works good as i have a thin piece of wire fitted as a temporary release. There is no way to adjust the cable that i can see.
