This shifter uses a shift knob with 12mm x 1.75 threads, it will not work with the factory Toyota 12mm x 1.25 knob

with that being said. I went into toyota to ask for a trd shiftknob to put on my beechperformance short throw shifter and the guy in toyota parts states they don';t list it by threadsize but application (ie: car).

so does anyone know what stock toyota would have a thread size about 12mm x 1.75?

No. I use the TRD knob from my 95 Celica (FWD) 'quick shift' kit. The knobs interchanged between my 85 Celica, 95 Celica (with/without the TRD kit), and now the Supra.

So unless they changed it for Scions or after 2000...

Beech must be the same as stock. I run a new OEM shift knob, (think I got the last one in the country), on my Beech short shifter with no fitment issues. The height is nice too.
