How hot does the transmission case get?
I installed my wb and the cable went next to the housing and was just wondering how hot it gets... the cable has heat sheilding cable on it so I'm sure i'm fine.. just wondering for curiosities sake

as i dont know numbers...i do know that it doesnt get insanely hot...ive changed my speedo cable out right after i drove the car for 30 minutes...and although i bruned myself on the exhaust a few times hehe....the tranny itself didnt burn me once...

so you should be fine however you should tuck it up and away from touching anything as much as possible for the sake of the matter.

I pulled the downpipe off after about a 10 mile drive... normal operating temp...
