Trans swap... n/a auto a340e into a turbo car?

Greetings fellow supra enthusiasts, I have a question. Since I no longer have reverse and can't afford to have the tranny rebuilt right now, I plan to use a n/a auto trans in my 89 auto turbo. I found it for 100 bucks and plan to put it in and test it out tomorrow. I am wondering if anyone knows of any issues I may encounter or how long I can expect it to stand up until I get my original repaired. I'll reaserch this topic better before I ask any further questions but hadn't seen anything like this asked or answered yet so I'm tossing it out.

It'll be fine if you don't beat on it too hard, there are a few small differences that increase the load capacity of the GTE 340, more clutches in a couple of the packs and so on.

ive got a 340 you can have for free im in new orleans you can pick it up for ship it your choice. im just not doing all the shipping leg work if you dont want to come get it. the trans is in perfect working order came from a mkIII i recently bought a month or 2 back.

trans is more or less the same, but the gte has different internals. the tsrm has an exploded view if that helps. just be gentile on it
