haha, I see you used my picture in the first one. Good comparison to show the difference. The front sump is too obvious.

Difference between a rear sump and mid sump is about 1/4 an inch which is more than enough to clear the subframe. I've used the mid sump one before.

i will once i am used to the clutch i would hate to embarass myself ;) i just got the synapse BOV lets see how well it works.... just put it on and in 20 mins i can drive it (when i have the babysitter lol)

edit: forgot to mention i am going to start another 2jzgte swap, not mine but a friends into his SC300. he is keeping stock twins and believe it or not its going to be cheaper than to fix his BHG on his 2jge (he bought it like that) not only that but he also has the USDM intake manifold and twins! (not a big deal on the intake mani but still if he wants to use EGR... Lol) pays to be my friend and live close i guess :p

What fuel pump are you installing in your car? Next weekend I'll be adding another walbro into my gas tank, but I was wondering what you decided to go with.

I may end up having to get larger injectors as well, but I hope not. Mine flowed out at 624cc's each and I don't have a need for mort than around 550rwhp, so I think I shall be fine with what I have. I bought the SARD 540s but they flow 624cc's and they were direct drop ins for my 1j. Are the 2j'z top feed?

Happy belated birthday.

All of that is taken care of. George (jugodegolf) has bought us each a mounting bracket, insulation wrap and the fittings we need to make this work............hopefully.

I still have my stock fuel rail with side feed injectors. The sard's are suppose to be really good and dependable.

changing to an AEM filter
searching for more information for a coolant filter, i feel i could really take aadvantage of this since i have all these extra coolant feeds for turbos i dont have hehe
i'd like to get this
http://www.mckinneyraceworks.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=82
maybe one of these
http://store.summitracing.com/partd...rt=GFR%2D5408LRGWH&N=700+115&autoview=sku
(if there is better point me to it!)
getting a fuel rail made
going to buy 750cc injectors
going to wire in resistors for the injectors
going to finnally install my new clutch
going to finnally install my oil relocation w/ thermostat controlled oil cooler
switching to pureone filters and pennzoil platinum 5w30
getting a colder heatrange of spark plugs...
changing turbine housing on turbo to .96
hooking up my map ecu 2 finnally
getting it tuned :)

i still need to buy the right PCV hoses between valve covers... going to start cleaning and possibly polishing my aluminum since its pretty dirty

also want to reroute the harness so i have more room for wires in the ECU area maybe even find a good spot to mount the ecu instead of my glove compartment... will give me a bit more room in the engine bay as well
would like to find an aluminum welder too..

spacers for my rear wheels so they sit a bit away from my rear traction arms
id like to get a camry or n/a 7m p/s resovoir (if you got one pm me hehe) so it fits better and easier to mount
i want to lighten my driveshaft, maybe convert to a 1 piece not sure yet.. might just lighten rear one and i need to do something about the center bearing i think mine is bad

this is my friends civic ive been helping on his build... at bandimere at colorados test and tune, 12 second on a SOHC engine, 1.6 liter. not too bad in my opinion :) he is not really going for the fastest 1/4 mile but rather the fastest SOHC civic and highest horsepower.

sadly his turbo seized on the dyno session a couple of days ago :( but on the same session it seized he dynod at 417 horsepower @23psi. a big improvement over his 276 he dynod @20psi. Head work does help it seems!

so we ended up using his brother ebay turbo t3/t4 they sell for like 150$ and he pulled off the 12 second run on his first run of the day, and he had two nuts missing from the exhaust manifold and one off the downpipe off his turbo. his second run was 13 flat with his tire blowing out 1/2 way through the quarter mile

redoing my timing.. man. anyways. i need to replace the cam and crank seals they are leaking, i'll probably replace the oil pump or reseal it. also think i stripped one of my tensioner threads..

bought new oil pan bolts that can handle 15 ft/lbs. FINNALLY ordered emissions hoses....

changed turbine housing..
installed aem filter..
