Can someone explain the throttle body year differences? I know the automatic and manual cars have different versions, but is there much difference in the 86.5 to 88 versus the 89+ throttle bodies? I would assume the TPS is different but I am not sure.

The pre 89s have the throttle adjustment screw on top while the 89+ do not.

That can't be true always becuase I just pulled a guy's 7m to replace it with a 1j and his 7m was a 91...and it had the adjustment screw on the top. I am not sure exactly what year my motor is, but it's in an 88 for now and it has no adjustment screw

What about the TPS - throttle position sensor? For example, does anyone know if an 87 TPS will fit on a 90 throttle body (assuming they are both manual cars)?
