This problem is making me insane!

So basic rundown
Supra 1jzgte/r154
car is an 87 mk3 started as an auto
Fresh swap wont fire.

I've spent a few days searching and working to figure out this problem and I am completely stumped.

The problem, the injectors wont fire.

However I have a good 12v at the injectors.
If I splice into the ground wire on the injector and connect that to battery ground I can get the injector to "fire"
I can get the car to start with starter fluid, and my timing is correct, I have tried 3 different ecu's and am throwing no codes.

Any ideas?

What injectors are in the car? stock or upgraded?

Stock, everything is stock aside from a downpipe atm.

Who did the wiring?

Fuel pump is working, and I did the wiring, hence the problem of injectors not releasing fuel.

Stock,
The problem seems to be that no ground signal from the ecu is getting to the injectors telling them to fire, I just cannot seem to figure out why.
