thinking of purchasing a supra

I've always loved supras but unfortunately, it's always been from afar...so, i'm considering buying one in the near future and would just like some opinions on things to look out for (problem areas), etc.

p.s. so many of the cars on here are sick!

Personally I would check for rust in and around the rear wheel wells.That IMO is harder to fix than any mechanical problems.

Supra's specially 7m's are notorious for BHG's::bhg:: ... also the turbo would be a good thing to inspect make sure no boost leaks should you go with a boost .. But i hey its still a supra =D

def. check for rust and also ask who ever you decide to buy a supra from if they have ever had the head gasket replaced? if not then be ready for a bhg...... i had mine for 2 days then pop.... bhg

for some reason since i had mine, ive always been experiencing spark issues, i dont know if this goes for all of them but ive replaced alot of parts due to misfiring and it still misfires... again i have not heard anyone else say they have a problem with the spark but just something IMO to look out for... but the BHG is the most common
