thinking of picking up an FC with 1jzgte

I'm thinking of buy an '88 rx7 turbo II
with a 1jzgte swapped in it with r154 trans
it's clean and has an EVO fmic, downpipe, high flow cat etc..
dyno'ed at 285 rwhp at 12 psi

you guys think it's worth $6k?

i would say yes... its a lighter platform for the 1j.

I think you could do it yourself for much less, probably around 4000, but do you want to?

Yes. Buy it now. That would be a wiring nightmare to do yourself.

got any pics? and yes i'd do it. If the body and interior is in good shape HELL yes, especially if everything works

Also ask yourself "why are they selling this car?" If it because they need the money? Or is it because it has issues that are well hidden?

i drive the living crap out of my 1jz rx7...don't have to worry about idle,starting ,blowing up...put gas in it and drive

here is my car on the dyno for the first time 272rwhp 12psi, 92 degrees outside, very crappy timing. its runs alot better now

according to calculators, fc is half second faster with same power.
