Just for future references, gunbroker.com is your best bet...sure you might find better deals elsewhere but you usually have to drive.

I just bought another SKS. This one is a Chinese SKS but I have to say I like my Yugo more especially the heavier threaded barrel . Going out this weekend to shoot them both.

A couple friends and I had quite a good time today. We got to use a variety of different guns.
The list:
Mosin Nagant carbine
Mosin Nagant rifle
Taurus Judge (45 and shot shells)
"Dirty Harry" 44 mag revolver
Kimber .45
Kahr 9mm sub compact
.22 revolver (this thing could fit on a keychain)
Ruger 10/22
308 rifle
.22 match pistol.

The mosin rifle went through almost 7 hard drives (hitting the spindle on 5/7). All were good fun and grouped well when you got used to them. I am sold, once I save up a little more I should be getting a k98 and a nice big old box of surplus ammo to go and enjoy at a range.
Next week, a Romanian ak74 and a S&W M&P 40 are getting added to the list of guns that we are bringing. I do have to say, that the kahr was the most fun, even if it was a 6+1. A close 2nd was the 44 mag and the 3rd was the 10/22.

Yes, .45 ACP (Automatic Colt Pistol) and .45 Auto are the same.

They are NOT the same as .45 Colt (also called Long Colt) or .45 GAP (Glock Automatic Pistol).

"Good one to get" is kind of relative to what you want to use it for. You don't want to get a Heckler and Koch Mk23 if you're looking for a concealed carry weapon due to the size, for example. Need to consider price, size, and reliability and balance those with what you want to do with it.

picked up 2 new pistols today. keltec pm9 (navy/hard chrome) and a walther p22 (OD green).
the keltec may become my carry piece if it proves to be reliable. very small and light for a 9mm. The walther on the other hand was an impulse buy but should be fine as its just for the range and plinking.

sorry for the bad photos. i just have my phone at the moment. btw, the slide on the keltec is actually a dull satin but the flash makes it look shinny.

Shameless plug for my buddies online store. He has great prices and is always available via the phone to answer questions or for customer service. He actually knows about the products he sells and has been in business for over 5 years....

Also make sure that any states you travel to will honor your permit.

I'm looking for a BOB pistol and I can't decide on either a 9mm or a .357 revolver. I already have a .40 cal but I'm looking for something to throw into my bag because I carry the .40 cal.

Is that the same Smartgunner on Gun Broker with the negative feedbacks concerning poor communication or not having an item in hand for an auction? The same for a fair number of positive feedbacks as well...doesn't answer e-mails? The same guy who didn't answer my inquiries (3 on the same item) as to if he actually had the item he listed?
