There is a VERY good chance I'll do just that, Adam.

LOL - just looked up the price of windscreens from Toyota.

Mine: $313.30
Nash: $1278.97

The difference? White cars come with a bronze tint... that evidently costs nearly $1000 over the rest. Just another reason why nobody should buy white.

Windshield on my 88 cost me 265.00 installed. (of course.. it split in half.. on install #2 now.. but it was a faulty windshield). They come to my house to do it too...
There is a rubber "grommet" you can use as opposed to the window trim on the front. I am a fan of "old school" tin though.. lol.

Hey Grimjack, did you heat wrap your exhaust mani or downpipe? I'm getting ready to drop my 2J in the engine bay (single turbo with heat blanket) and want to know if either is necessary.
Yes, the downpipe is heat wrapped. The exhaust manifold is not, and I'm running a blanket on the exhaust side of the turbo.

Well, did some work last night... in the rain, unfortunately, but you can't have everything you wish for. Discovered one of the down sides to driving a car that's LOUD, and that is the fact that you can't hear the squealers that warn you when your brake pads are low. Wore the rear brakes all the way through and into the pad backing! Luckily I had all the parts on the shelf to get it back into top condition - discs and a set of pads.

While I was in there, I swapped out the old Racing Gear coilovers for a set of revalved Bilsteins that I recently got back.

Some pics...

So, a few changes over the last little while... put in a new wind shield, replaced all the wind shield trim at the same time, and changed the rain drip rails beside the wind shield. Mostly for the PacNW show that I just got back from.

Oh, and replaced the shifter boot and ebrake boot. And put in new plugs.
