My father grabbed my 7M block, 7M flexplate, BH adapter, BH, TH400 and some hardware a few months ago. I haven't seen him (or my parts), but he called to say it's almost ready to test fit.

He took an old Vega (small pattern) torque converter, had the snub machined to fit the 7M crank, then bolted it all together. He says the GM snub material is too thin after being machined. So I would benefit from a custom torque converter, preferrrably one with six nuts instead of three.

I don't have any pictures, but I'm sure it's close to what comes with a race TH400 kit. Anyone have any sources for the torque converters? Pictures would be nice too.

Thanks, D

Wow, I had no idea they sold them!

Thanks

*EDIT*
Those torque converters aren't setup for the Mkiii. They're just standard GM converters that got listed in the Mkiii section. They're price on a Holeshot 2400 stall is $361. Summit sells the same one for about $250
