Temp Gauge Issue

Hello Guys

Since swapping to my correct MA70 supra loom my temp gauge is going stright to hot after 2mins of running. Motor is cool to touch lol Ive already ran A wire stright from temp sensor to dash loom plug issue still occurs. besides replacing it with an aftermarket gauge what could be the issue. Ive checked grounds etc

The temp sensors are pretty cheap at any parts store, come with a lifetime warranty, and are easy to install. Also, there are two similar pieces in similar places: the coolant temp sensor, and the temperature switch. The dummies at the parts store argued with me, telling me they were the same until I looked them up in the computer myself and found different part numbers.

Temp Sensor WT5000
Temp Switch/Sender WT600P

I didn't drain my coolant to replace these, it isn't ideal but if you are too poor/lazy to drain your whole coolant system you can just put your finger in the hole to keep coolant from going everywhere while you get the new one to put in with your other hand...
