I finally have SSDs in both computers. For those of you who don't have a solid state drive, you are missing out.
Before, the desktop took about a minute to start up from a cold stop and the thinkpad took 1.5 minutes. Now they are up in 15 seconds.
Before, the desktop took about 15 seconds to go to and from standby and the laptop took about 20 seconds. Now, the tablet goes to and from standby in about 5 seconds, and the desktop does it in 3 flat.

I recommend this guy. Ordered it, and a brand new in box Intel SSD was in my mailbox like 3 days later. $100 shipped. Best deal I have found yet.
