Not a thing......It just rain at Vegas this past weekend meet and drove it like a maniac . I just washed it again today!

Looks to me, from the picture of your hood being up, that any water coming into the engine bay would drop down without hitting any particularly hot bits, avoiding whatever steaming might come. By the way, I love the way your car looks man, never seen it before. Wish I could get a set of Type 03 wheels in a custom size without breaking the bank entirely, still probably my favorite wheel.

Went back out to Red Rock park huh? Man, I'm honestly hoping that they do a different place for the next SILV, all three years I went out there, only went to that place. Beautiful, but would be nice for some variety.

Thanks Guys!! I'm hoping more guys to be interested of having this done in CF or Fg. The cost is pretty sweet ( CF= $450 & FG= $400 ). I just need 12 people to get in for the group buy (paid in full now) and you'll have the hood deliver in your front door by 1- 1/2 month or less. Looking at their website the shipping cost for 1 as follows:

These hoods are already being made in Japan for a while now, called TK style. I have a frp one, and they have carbon ones as well. However, they aren't priced as well as these.

Good work on the cutting and welding.

I'm aware of the TK style but I didn't like it. Emission had one then sold it and now with us in the group buy. Here's the site of the vendor who will be producing this hood.

I like the faq that you could have this hood with optionals (RED-color/kevlar).

The larger group the better the price rate. 50% down of just the hood price not including shipping. If we get 10 people to order CF the price will go down significantly. I will also try to talk to the vendor of bringing the shipping down a little. Color CF (option) will cost you more money. Just waiting on the "12 people" to send me their down payment to proceed on the molding. So far I have six people PayPal me their 50% ($225) down. For CF kevlar red it's another $180+ so your down payment will be at $315....If you decided to go that route...your payment was receive thanks.
