No, this is not photochopped, the dust is red.

Dust storm early this morning caused the Air Quality Index to skyrocket up to 1700 (200-300 is considered unhealthy and 500 is hazardous).

Ian? Kristel? Are you secretly martians? :p

You should have seen the "yellow dust" in Korea. That crap was so bad that the Army canceled physical training. They didn't even cancel pt for ice there. Mongolian sand and China's refuse in the air suck.

Yeah the dust sucked, every breath you took just tasted like dirt. Eyes were all red and alot of asthma sufferers did it tough.
Didn't bother getting photos though, just driving out west towards central australia is like that for dry periods during the year depending on the wind.

Yeah I live in Brisbane Queensland and we have had two dust storms here in the last week.

I don't suffer from allergies, and tried to limit my exposure, but it messed me up badly regardless. Still picking crap out of my nose (not kidding).

I'm 23, and I've never seen anything like it in the city.

Need to clean my freaking air filter. Poor supra :(
