stock oil psi

so when my car is at a stop my defi oil pressure gauge reads 5psi or so and then when i start going it moves up depending on how i drive. is that normal? i know that are cars have really bad oil pressure to begin with.

5psi is normal at/near idle, as you speed up so does your oil, so your pressure will vary with speed also, but yeah the TSRM is what's up

your pressure varies with rpm not speed. you could be going 70 mph at 2k(example) and only have 20-30 psi or you could be going 20 mph at 4k and have 40 psi.

our cars have a low pressure high flow oil system.
