Someone on here (maybe the old site) or SF had a pic of their stereo install and they had a plastic storage box installed underneath it.

I searched here and on SF but couldn't find it. It looked really good and wanted to know where the plastic storage unit came from.

Anyone know what or who I am talking about?

You can get them from any 87-90 Tercel, or order it at Toyota, or ask at any stereo install shop.

I like Toyota's myself, they are a single piece instead of two (like some I've seen), and they have a nicer opening, makes it look real good IMO.

Aftermarket one in the Supra:

Toyota one in the Corolla:

Kinda hard to see them in the pics though. I like the one in my Corolla better though, and it's going into the Supra after I get the 92-94 Supra double DIN head unit put into the Corolla. :)

They're free from crutchfield as part of the install kit if you buy a head unit from them. You can purchase them seperately also. I think they're ~$10.

Yep, I got the one with pocket dealie from Evil Empire(Wal Mart) for about $10. It lists several 80's toyota models as well as some hondas and mitsubishi's.

Just thought I'd add this:

55521-16030 is the part number for the Toyota part, usually dealers have it in stock I think, list price is $5.33, Jay Marks will sell it for less, probably about $4.50. I dunno, it's cheap either way, lol.
