Ok I should probably know this, but I had the block bored .0020 over. What
size bore should I use for the metal head gasket 83mm? I'm gonna use a
1.5mm for thickness. Thanks for any help.

Made some headway. Got the block mostly assembled, worst part was
getting the ring end gap correct. I'm happy with the way the machine
work came out. Here's more pics.

Funny you ask that, the guy forgot to do it and said he would do it seperatly, but I made
him bolt it back on the block and redo them together. Thanks for mentioning anyway. I
never knew about that until reading through this forum. Ah the power of reading.

Just ordered the driftmotion 67mm turbo kit, can't wait to see how it comes out. I haven't seen any
real reviews of this kit posted or dyno #'s. I was also thinking about the SP quick spool valve, they're
supposed to be having some good "Black Friday" deals.

Just wondering feedback on a good wideband setup. I am probably gonna go with an AEM for standalone.
Anyone else had good experiences with other standalone systems with the 7m ignition system?

should just go with the AEM wideband kit if your going with the standalone. I did and used the aem map sensor. What are you fuel plans and oiling plans?

Well, hi there!
Your build looks to be coming along quite nicely! For the ignition system, I suggest what I am running (also using an AEM). I am using a Lexus IS300 ignition system. (The DH61 ignitor and the VVTI 2JZ-GE ignition coils) It has been working quite well for me and from what I had read (before buying anything) it seemed like that no standalone does a good job with the stock ignitor :( .

Other notes/suggestions would be converting to a MAP based setup, re-wiring for sequential injection, and shaving extra stuff from the harness at the same time (no more cold-start injector, MAF wires by the turbo, no more EGR, no more VSV's) Side note- those wires can be re-purposed for injector wires on cyl 4, 5, and 6 FYI. You can also re-route wires if you're going for an FFIM. ALso, if it's readily available, I would suggest using E-85 fuel. You can get more boost and more timing out of your setup, and all you have to do is get bigger injectors, fuel pump, presssure regulator, and lines! It's magic gas IMO...

Feel free to check my build thread if you would like to see what I have done. I wish you the best of luck!

Just ordered an AEM EMS, AEM MAP, IAT, and WBO2 sensors. MVPmotorsports had some
good deals. I think the more parts I order the bigger my list keeps getting!!!??? Is there a
hotline I can call, I think I'm addicted. :aigo:

Oh hey what size injectors and pump are you running with E85. I have 550's, aeromotive AFPR,
and a walbro right now, but that obviously is not enough. Will 2 walbros do the job w/1200cc's.

Your build looks great so far!!! I just happened to be browsing the forum (which I honestly don't have as much time do as I used to), and I saw you ordered our turbo kit! Thanks very much, I think you will love it! We'll get it shipped asap, we usually take about 7-10 days to get the turbo built and get all the other items boxed and ready to ship, it takes lots of parts from a bunch of places to make the kits.

My current injectors are 720's but they are tapped out at ~450 right now, so I'm going for 1350's from FIC. Not sure if my mk4TT pump is maxed out as well, but I'll be upping that at the same time (likely 2 of them).

Well I guess my next area of concern is my oiling system, and intercooler/piping setup. I'm still not sure
if I want to keep my AC and convert to R134A.
