Start for new rebuild

Ok iv been looking around and I would like to know how good are cp pistons along with eagle rods? Those with good bearings can my bottom end hold 500 hp?

CP pistons are some of the most expensive but some of the best. they hold well above 500 horse and a good combination with eagle rods. that is if you can afford them

also, im a sort of an NPR engine bearing fan. check them out.
one of the few bearings that can hold 1000+ horse in a 7m

acl, king, are rated better, I will be using either or for the 7m and 2j rebuild coming up, it might be a good idea to get both to test.

Federals are a good bearing, kings are not and have been proven not to be in a 7m. Federals are sometimes used by Clevite for very odd sizes, as NDC is used by clevite for nearly all STD and many -.25mm now. Just stick to OEM bearings or Clevite/NDC, there is no reason to use anything else.

just got done using ACL bearings..checked out great...idk how they will hold up when it runs..but hey its a start?
