Well, I went to the dyno the car today with a bunch of other MKIV owners. I could not get a torque rating as the RPM on the dyno was not working, not sure why. Also, I could not run any high boost due to the fact that my boost was falling off from 25psi to like 21psi. My W/G spring is to blame, the 14psi spring doesn't quite hold up to the high boost setting and the fact that it was humid and hot today (Sept 14th 2008).

Old Run VPC/AFC:

Pump Gas @14psi 365rwhp

New Runs AEM EMS:

Pump gas @16psi 468rwhp

Race gas (C16) @21psi 531rwhp (notice the boost gauge falling off, bottom gauge)

Good Runs! I think that the Key to the 7M is getting rid of the damn stock ECU!! So you got 103rwhp just running 2 more psi and installing the Standalone!! Before the AEM what was your HP numbers? I thought you were already over 500rwhp?

See, people like you shouldn't post threads like this. You're just gonna make me want more out of my car.

Congrats on the numbers! I wouldn't worry too much about the Torque number, it is there. You don't have a 1JZ ya know.

I made 543rwhp 537rwtq @24psi SAE, and yes I was over 500rwhp. It's just that I was comparing it to the VPC/AFC

Well, it's good to want more out of your car. That's what people like me are good for :).

Your right, but I wanted a number so I can make the 1J guys feel even more torqueless (made that word up) :)

Great dyno yesterday Mani....you definitely are on pace to break your max power record of your old setup. Chevyeater tuned the hell out this car yesterday. Going standalone will make anyone looking to make real power happy. We had lots of cars Dyno yesterday and Manny made more power on low boost as he made on 24psi his past dyno record.

Great numbers. Love the 468rwhp at 16psi. Could you run any more boost or make any more power on pump gas?

Yes, we definitely could've gotten about 500rwhp on pump but it was very hot and the car has made many passes. This was when we decided to let the car cool down and prep it for race gas runs.

You are correct Anthony, I definitely beat my old run at 524rwhp at 24psi with VPC/AFC.
