So, birthday money and stuff. Here's what I'm thinking.

What I have:
1.Kenwood KDC-MP228 Headunit
2.Cheapo Lightening Audio 4" up front, sound ok, my kenwood 4"s are popping, and these were the 25$ alternative.
3. 2 Rockford Fosgate 8" subs in boxes, a bit old, but for 20$(both) I'd say a deal.

What I'm thinking of getting:

1.http://www.etronics.com/product.asp?stk_code=piotsw306dvc&svbname=469
this sub, and a box of course.(probably replacing the rockfords, but maybe all 3?)

2.http://www2.bigondigital.com/viewitem.php?IndexID=7622&RefTag=nextag(an amp to power that biotch, good price, i think)

3.http://www.x10.com/electronics/allc...oneer_TS-A6961R.html?3fac50eb3d79487842cc65db

6x9s,(boxes, of course) though if you guys think i should stick with the rockfords instead, i will, saves some cash.

4. http://www2.bigondigital.com/viewitem.php?IndexID=7620&RefTag=nextag

an amp for those 6x9s, or the fosgates, i guess, i can get this amp for 50$ at best buy though.

The only problem I see is, there is only 1 set of RCA outs on my head unit, is there any way to splice it into two usable sets of wire for the multiple amps? or should i spend extra for a bigger amp and run all three speakers from one. OR, would the first amp i listed run all three speakers sufficiently?

thanks,

albert

First, I doubt that you will be happy with the Lightning Audios. They kinda suck. second, you can buy a line output converter to run additional amps from your head unit. They wont be adjustable from your deck. You can run 3 subs from a mono amp if that amp is 1 ohm stable.
