well i made 470hp today but kept blowing out spark. i regapped them to 22 and they laster longer but started to mess up.

what set of plugs can i use that are colder than stock ones.

i forget what kind im using but there from advanced auto there the 2.99 or 1.99 ngk ones.

im running 25 psi.

If you're blowing out spark with that small of a gap your coils are probably getting weak. Consider getting a new set (not used) or a HKS DLi.

I jus threw in the much hated NGK IRIDIUMS and my car runs perfect... They're gapped to 28 and dont blow out, and it idles perfect... Strong pull all the way to 7k rpm.

well from what i hear there bad and will melt pistons on high boost

you can try these plugs, they are colder than stock just pick the one with the right heat range for you

R5672A-8 ngk copper (i used these)
R5672A-9 ngk copper
R5671A-10 ngk copper

ngk 4644's aka bkr7e, alot of members are running these at high boost, just bought a new set today too :icon_razz

WHOA.. lol I kno a couple 850whp+ supras That uses these.. 3 of them daily driven.. No probs what so ever... BUT I have heard other things about the iridiums.. so far i have experienced none. I actually kind of like them.
