What ngk platinum spark plugs should be run in a 1jz? I've heard that using the ones for the 2jz is fine?

I use NGK 6097 and gap them to .028 or .029 but I also have a single turbo at 20psi.

Werd. I am also using NGK 6097's gapped at .028. Im single at 16psi.

I ran the same plugs but gapped to .025 when I was stock twins.

I did .25, you'll notice a slight stumble at idle, but very smooth and will accept any boost you throw at it. If you gap them too high you break up on high boost.

im running the auto lite copper's. i love em. i've always heard that the NGK's need to replaced very often and burn out fast.
