I just bought some plug for my 1j and whats the recommended gap for them? i searched but couldnt find anything. i got the ngk 6097's so are they gapped correctly out of the box?

The stock gap on them plugs is probably .032 which may run perfectly for your car. If I try it @ 17psi of boost then my car breaks up horribly at 4500 rpm. If you're on stock twins then you may be o.k. since you won't be running very high boost. It's easy to change them out, so try them like they are. If your car starts breaking up, lower the gap about .002 and try them again. Good luck.
