so i haven't had a 1j in three years i use to run 3330's in the motor.
when i went to look up the spark plugs for my new 1j at my work (auto zone).
it showed that ngk no longer makes that. i don't know if this is true or not but our
computers at my work says auto light 3923 will work in replacement for that plug.
main question is has anyone used that plug or what do you use instead of the 3330's?

Hrm, I don't like autolite plugs personally... I run NGK V-power plugs for a MKIV turbo, except one step colder.

Huh? I still call my parts store and give them the "NGKBKR7E" part number and I get those plugs all the time. I believe if you ask for a plug buy the four digit number, instead of the part number, that's where the problem is.

EDIT: DM has the NGK BKR7E list just like that. :dunno:

Most importantly, make sure your gap is correct (~.028-.030) on ALL your plugs. Pre-gapped is about the biggest joke I've heard. :p

I give them both. I start with NGK 4644, if they can't find it, then I give them BKR7E, then they find it. It all depends on who's behind the computer on the other end of the phone really.

More than half of the Autozone people don't know a thing about cars.

You're being generous there.

I worked at two different parts stores as a kid and I think I was the only person there who had ever worked on a car.

NGK BKR7E. They are great plugs. Have hit high HP without any issues.

+1 BKR7E/4644. I'll caveat this by saying you can actually get away with running BKR6Es (stock plug) in various situations.
