someone's using a holset turbo..... hehehe.. hx34 or hx40? and i assume you're using external waste gate?
WH1c...essentially the HX35 and no...internal. I bored the hole out to 32mm and machined down a big block exhaust valve for a flapper....cut the old one out and welded a washer onto the new one. Looks completely stock.

i meant the hx35.. i fat-fingered it.. haha.. that WH1C has a much bigger exhaust housing than the HX35 doesnt it? good idea on using the valve for a flapper.. i used an hx35 on my supra a few years back.. held 26psi nicely however without an external gate, that thing would not hold anything less than 26. it made TONS of power, no dyno but easily in the 450 rwhp range considering my clutch wouldnt hold rated at 510lb ft.. however the small exhaust housing caused egt's to climb too high and damaged my ring lands. ahh well.. very aggressive turbo. full boost came on violently.. hits very hard.. i liked it
also, can you send me a few more pics of your manifold? i'd like to see it in a little more detail. i'm currently working on my own, but yours looks great. and if it's a good price, i'll scrap my project and buy yours. also, what type of t-body?

Sounds nice..links to pics? I hear ebay turbos are good if you replace internals with something of better quality. Stock internals? Thats a tough clutch. LMK about the FFIM. I could finish yours for you for cheap depending on how far you are on yours.

Still plan on PMing you.. ill probably do it tomorrow (sunday) when i can think more clearly.. kinda tired now.. heres some pics of my setup

and yea the ebay turbo i have on there was great.. and no the turbo was not on stock internals.. i rebuilt it myself. i can rebuild turbos very fast.. i rebuilt 2 ct26's one stock and one 60-1.. about 20 min to rebuild one.

keep in mind the setup i have in this pic is the old setup.. not very clean either.. had to finish it real quick because i had a bad wreck in my DD..

This pic is a test fit for the downpipe.. i hadn't ground the welds and wrapped it yet. 4" right off the back of the turbo!

well keep in mind that is the old setup.. that turbo is now sitting under the hood of a z28 camaro.. i ran 30psi on that turbo and made un-real power.. i didnt really ever have a goal.. and i dont really like to make goals.. last couple times i made goals i got dis-appointed! i had my big laggy top end monster, now im going for the z06 smoking street monster set up. we'll see what happens

at least forged pistons.. stock rods can hold quite a bit of power.. depending on cost effectiveness i might go forged, but i might have the stockers x-rayed, shot peened, and cryo-treated. they should hold just about anything i throw at them then
